The La Sportiva Aequilibrium LT GTX Carbon / Lime Punch are advanced trekking and mountaineering boots designed for multi-day backpacking trips and challenging ascents. The upper is made of waterproof nubuck leather, enhanced with abrasion-resistant synthetic inserts and TPU reinforcements at the toe and heel to protect against injuries and abrasions. A GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane guarantees effective waterproof protection and excellent breathability, which is beneficial in changeable weather. The nylon-carbon (hybrid) outsole enhances stability and is compatible with semi-automatic crampons. A soft polyurethane midsole and Rubber Guard™ Shell construction provide cushioning while reducing the shoe's weight and the amount of rubber on the outer layer. The "Double Heel™" system in the rear heel block improves braking when climbing stairs and facilitates a natural foot roll, reducing muscle fatigue. The Vibram SpringLug Tech outsole with Impact Brake System lugs provides excellent traction on rocks, stony approaches, and challenging trails.
