The La Sportiva Spire Woman GTX (Black/Topaz) is a modern, fast-paced hiking shoe designed for speed hiking and light trekking. Its upper is constructed with a durable Nano Cell 2.0 mesh structure and TechLite PU reinforcement panels, providing a great combination of breathability and abrasion resistance.
The key technology is GORE-TEX® SURROUND® , which provides waterproof protection and full 360° breathability - the membrane ventilates not only from the top, but also through side channels in the midsole, which allows for very effective moisture removal.
The soft, cushioning midsole is made of compressed EVA foam supported by TPU sides - the side ventilation channels are covered with a nylon mesh to prevent stones and dirt from getting inside.
Stability is ensured by the Stability Control system, which works in conjunction with the membrane's construction to stabilize the foot from the sides. The shoes are equipped with an Ortholite insole (approx. 5 mm) for comfort on long hikes.
The outsole is Vibram XS Trek with Impact Brake, providing excellent traction on hard, soft, and muddy terrain. Each half-boot weighs approximately 370g (approximately a size 38).
These shoes are perfect for dynamic hikes where lightness, breathability and protection from changing weather are important.
