- The POC Clarity Comp features three lenses tuned to the precise needs of skiers competing in sunny, partly sunny and overcast conditions and have light frequency profiles that have been maximized for use in the intense, short-duration periods typical of ski racing.
Spektris mirror coatings
POC Clarity lenses, designed for sunny and partly sunny conditions, are enhanced with special mirror coatings that were developed in collaboration with ZEISS to perfectly balance the base tints of Clarity lenses.
Optical performance in brighter conditions depends on both the base tint, which supports visible light, color, and contrast transmitted to the eye, and the mirror coating, which, when created in sync, can enhance color and contrast while protecting eyes from fatigue and glare.
POC and ZEISS have combined their extensive scientific and technical expertise in lens development to produce Spektris mirror coatings, which contain precisely the right mix of color, minerals and metals to support Clarity's essential shades.
