A kit for repairing damaged threads for mounting pedals to cranks.
No more problems with damaged pedal threads on your cranks. With our Crank Saver Kit, you can repair the threads and save your beloved cranks.
First, use a tap to cut an oversized 5/8"x24 TPI thread into the crank arms. Thoroughly clean the threads, then apply glue to the insert and install it in the crank arm. Finally, screw the pedal into the insert.

The set includes:
Right and left hand tap 5/8˝×24 TPI
10 repair inserts for left cranks
10 repair inserts for right cranks
The set is supplied in a metal case with a cut-out SOS foam insert, so each piece is always in its place.
